Weekly Traffic, Road Construction Update & Common Flood-Prone Streets

 McCARTY LANE: As part of the City’s new pavement management program to provide preventative maintenance to city streets, McCarty Lane from IH-35 to the railroad crossing will undergo street maintenance until June 29 daily from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Project length is estimated 5 days, weather permitting. Please park vehicles off the street or they may be towed at owners’ expense. City of San Marcos Streets Dept., 512.393.8025  June 13 @ 8 a.m.  June 29 @ 5 p.m.
100 COERS DRIVE: One Lane on the north east side of Coers Drive will be closed for utility testing on June 27 – 29 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Engineering/Capital Improvements 512.393.8130 June 27 @ 9 a.m. June 29 @ 4 p.m
IH35/YARRINGTON BRIDGE: The Yarrington Bridge will be closed for street maintenance on June 28 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. East and west traffic will have to use RM 150 or the turn-around at the Blanco River. In addition, various lane closures will occur at any given time directly under the Yarrington bridge leaving at least one lane open for either direction. BARBARA DRIVE: On Barbara Drive from Bugg Lane to River Rd. Street maintenance will start on June 27 through July 1, weather permitting, from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily. Please park your vehicle off the street or it may be towed at your own expense. City of San Marcos Streets Dept., 512.393.8025 June 27 @ 7 a.m. July 1 @ 5 p.m.
 ED JL GREEN: From Sessom St. to Laurel Ridge, maintenance will start on July 6 – 29, weather permitting, from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily. Please park your vehicle off the street or it may be towed at your own expense. City of San Marcos Streets Dept., 512.393.8025  July 6 @ 7 a.m.  July 29 @ 5 p.m.
817 CHESTNUT ST: One lane will be closed for new construction to site   through June 10, 2016. Street will continue to be passable to all traffic. J4 Development, 469.236.0922 Present End of July 2016
 NORTH LBJ FROM CAMARO WAY TO CRADDOCK: This road will be open to two-way traffic, but the lanes will be shifted west to allow space for the City contractor to construct a new lift station on the corner of N. LBJ and Craddock. Project will last until summer 2016. Engineering/CIP, 512.393.8130 Present Summer 2016
EAST SAN ANTONIO STREET: Half a block closed from the alley to N. LBJ every Saturday from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. for the Farmers Market on the Square. Main Street Program, 512.393.8430. Year Round
