West San Marcos 4-H Club Proudly Returns $17,000 to Hays County Youth From Proceeds of Annual Dove Hunt Fundraiser
West San Marcos 4-H Club Dove Hunt fundraiser takes place on a local San Marcos ranch benefiting the Hays County Youth Livestock Show.
San Marcos, TX- Over 150 hunters, including Wounded Warriors, West San Marcos 4-H Club volunteers and youth will come together Saturday, September 9th, 2017 for the 8th Annual Dove Hunt and Silent Auction Fundraiser.
This all day event takes place at the Krackau Ranch on over 850 beautiful acres boasting 10 stock tanks, located at 5670 FM 1979, San Marcos, TX 78666. Last year’s event enabled the 4-H club to return over $17,000 dollars to Hays County youth via the Hays County Youth Livestock Show and Auction.
Hunters of all ages can sign up today at www.westsanmarcos4h.org. Included with hunter registration is a morning and afternoon dove hunt, a t-shirt, catered lunch, a skeet shoot contest with prizes, and silent auction.
ATV’s are allowed in designated areas as are hunting dogs allowed on a leash. Hunter orange, a hunting license and/or hunter education certificate is required.
The West San Marcos 4-H Booster Club still seeks sponsors for both the event and donors for the silent auction. Official sponsorship t-shirts will be given to all hunters the day of the event.
Sponsorship levels start at just $250 and include your name on our t- shirt, sponsor banner, posters. Also included is a FREE HUNT, unless the sponsor would prefer to donate the FREE HUNT TO A WOUNDED WARRIOR.

Please note that the West San Marcos 4-H Club is officially a 501(c)(3) organization, so any donations above and beyond the cost of the hunt fees are tax deductible. All proceeds benefit Hays County youth via the Hays County Youth Livestock Show and Auction.

Is this where I sign up for the dove hunt on Sept 9, 2019?
I do not believe any information on the Annual Dove Hunt 2019 has been released yet or that they have opened signups. This information is from 2017. However, you could contact West San Marcos 4-H Booster Club directly here.
