A winter weather advisory has been issued and is in effect from 3 am Thursday to 6 am CST Friday.
Mixed precipitation is expected. Minor sleet/snow accumulations on grassy areas, and ice accumulations up to a few hundredths of an inch on mainly elevated, exposed surfaces. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
Portions of south-central Texas include the following counties;
Llano-Burnet-Williamson-Val Verde-Edwards-Real-Kerr-Bandera-Gillespie-Kendall-Blanco-Hays-Travis-Bastrop-Lee-Kinney-Uvalde-Medina-Bexar-Comal-Guadalupe-Caldwell-Fayette-Maverick-Zavala-Frio-Atascosa-Wilson-Karnes-Gonzales-De Witt-Lavaca-Dimmit
Which includes the following cities;
Llano, Burnet, Georgetown, Del Rio, Rocksprings, Leakey, Kerrville, Bandera, Fredericksburg, Boerne, Blanco, San Marcos, Austin, Bastrop, Giddings, Brackettville, Uvalde, Hondo, San Antonio, New Braunfels, Seguin, Lockhart, La Grange, Eagle Pass, Crystal City, Pearsall, Pleasanton, Floresville, Karnes City, Gonzales, Cuero, Hallettsville, and Carrizo Springs
Plan on slippery road conditions, especially on elevated bridges, overpasses, and elevated roadways. The hazardous conditions may impact both the morning and evening commute.
