Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will be holding a public hearing to present the proposed project on RM 12 (Wonder World Drive)/FM 2439 (Hunter Road) 200 feet north of Hunter Road to 400 feet south of Hunter Road in Hays County, Texas.
The proposed improvements include two pedestrian refuge islands, bicycle accommodations, bike lanes, and updated signing and striping.
The public hearing is scheduled for July 9, 2019, and will be held at Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Maurice T. Suttles VFW Post 3413, at 1701 Hunter Road San Marcos, TX 78666 (Map)
The hearing will begin at 5 p.m. with an open house format, with a formal presentation starting at 5:30 p.m. Project team members will be on hand to answer questions and provide information during the open house portion of the hearing.
