Wrap Up Your Shopping In Downtown San Marcos

The City of San Marcos Main Street Program invites the public to wrap up their shopping and celebrate the Heart of the Holidays in Downtown San Marcos.

From noon – 5 p.m. on Dec. 17, when shoppers buy local, Main Street will offer free gift wrapping for all purchases made downtown. In addition, shoppers can take advantage of the following promotions:

Free Gift Wrapping: All purchases made downtown on Dec. 17 qualify for free custom gift wrapping at the Main Street Program Office, 317 N. LBJ Dr.

Free Hot Cocoa: Visitors to downtown are welcome to stop in at Main Street for a complimentary cup of hot cocoa.

Free Ornament: Purchases of $25 or more in any downtown establishment, or a combination of purchases totaling $25 qualifies the purchaser for a free Love Downtown ornament commemorating 30 years as a Main Street city.

Elfie Selfie Contest: It is the last opportunity for shoppers to find an elf hidden in participating shops, take a photo with the elf and post to social media using the hashtags #ELFIESELFIE and #LOVESMTX. Winner will be announced on Dec. 19.

Free Pictures with Santa: In addition to special promotions downtown, the Hays County Historical Commission will offer free photos with Santa inside of the Hays County Historic Courthouse. 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The Wrap up Your Shopping event is the last in the Heart of the Holidays event series celebrating the holidays in downtown San Marcos and included the Wine & Wassail Walk, Farm to Table Dinner, Shop Small Saturday, Downtown Lighting Celebration and Cookies and Cocoa at the Courthouse.
