FORECAST REGION | TUE OCT 29 |
WED OCT 30 |
THU OCT 31 |
---|---|---|---|
Austin & Central Texas Region | GOOD | GOOD | GOOD |
TUESDAY 10/29/2019
Moderate winds, cold temperatures, increasing cloud cover with precipitation, and/or low incoming background levels should help keep air quality in the “Good” range in most spots statewide.
WEDNESDAY 10/30/2019
Abundant sunshine and increasing incoming background levels could be enough for ozone to possibly reach the upper end of the “Good” range (perhaps with an isolated low “Moderate” or two) in parts of the El Paso area, with highest concentrations in the afternoon and early evening.
Otherwise, moderate to strong winds, cold temperatures, heavy cloud cover with precipitation, and/or low incoming background levels associated with an advancing cold front should help keep air quality in the “Good” range in most spots statewide.
THURSDAY 10/31/2019
Light winds, abundant sunshine, and elevated incoming background levels could be enough for ozone to possibly reach the lower end of the “Moderate” range in parts of the El Paso area, with highest concentrations in the afternoon and early evening.
Elsewhere in the state, moderate to strong winds, cold temperatures, and/or lower incoming background levels should help keep air quality in the “Good” range in most spots.
