An additional month of sales tax revenue deficit’s for City Of San Marcos, however much of the county fared better than last month.

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced today he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose taxing districts $779.2 million in local sales tax allocations for August, 1.3 percent more than in August 2016.
These allocations are based on sales made in June by businesses that report tax monthly, and sales made in April, May and June by quarterly filers.
