APD Seeks Public’s Assistance Identifying Robbery Suspects

The Austin Police Department Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying the suspects in a series of robberies.

On Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 6:27 a.m., an unidentified black male suspect robbed the Bread Basket located at 2150 E. 7th St. (Case 16-1240259)

On Friday, May 6, 2016 at 11:31 p.m., two unidentified black male suspects robbed the Exxon located at 3926 Ed Bluestein Blvd. (Case 16-1272153)

On Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 7:15 a.m., two unidentified black male suspects again robbed the Bread Basket located at 2150 E. 7th St. (Case 16-1280463)

In all three cases, a weapon was displayed. In two of the cases, victims were assaulted during the course of the robbery.

Suspect #1 is described as:

  • Black male
  • 5’8” – 5’10” in height
  • Stocky build

Suspect #2 is described as:

  • Black male
  • 5’11” – 6’ in height
  • Slender build
