Greater San Marcos Partnership Open House

In honor of the International Economic Development Council’s (IEDC) National Economic Development Week, the Greater San Marcos Partnership (GSMP) will be hosting an Open House this Thursday (5/12) from 4 PM to 6 PM at their office (1340 Wonder World Drive, Suite 108, San Marcos, TX 78666).

“We hope you can stop by to talk to the team, tour our office, learn about our mission and have a late afternoon snack.” Please see the attached flyer for details about this free and open to the public event.

This week, we’re asking our communities to share their favorite thing about the Greater San Marcos region on Facebook and Twitter using #EconDevWeek and #YearOfEconDev.
Also, save the date for the 2016 Greater San Marcos Economic Outlook featuring Forbes columnist and Executive Director of the Center for Opportunity Urbanism, Joel Kotkin. The event is next Thursday, May 19th, 11 AM to 1 PM at the Embassy Suites in San Marcos.
Mr. Kotkin will do a private Q&A for members of the press beginning at 11 AM in the San Marcos Room. Advance interviews are available over the phone. More details coming soon.
