Ascension Seton Health Center has broken ground on a new health center in Buda. Seton’s new health center will include primary care, urgent care, walk-in services and more.

The new two-story health center will be located at 5225 Overpass Drive. Initially it will bring approximately 50 new jobs to our area, with more growth expected in the future.

“With the new health center, we are likely to see more retail development, restaurants, and medical offices in the immediate area. And of course all of this helps generate new sales tax revenues for the city and additional property tax revenues from businesses,” said Buda Mayor Pro Tem Wiley Hopkins.

Seton employs over 12,000 employees and is the largest non-profit health system in the U.S. and world’s largest Catholic health system. The new health center in Buda is slated to open in spring 2019.
