The City of Austin’s Anti-Displacement Task Force is seeking Austinites’ ideas and suggestions for addressing gentrification and displacement at a Community Forum set for Saturday, February 24 at the Conley-Guerrero Senior Activity Center, 808 Nile Street, from 1 to 4 p.m.

The 17-member task force was created by the Austin City Council to explore how displacement is affecting Austin and to develop strategies to address it through conserving and expanding affordable housing, supporting small businesses, and preserving the city’s cultural assets.

Linguistic and hearing impaired translation services will be available. Childcare and refreshments will also be provided.
