Austin Board of REALTORS® Foundation To Present $35,500 In College Scholarships
The Austin Board of REALTORS® (ABoR) Foundation will award $35,500 in scholarships to deserving high school seniors during its 2015 Scholarship Awards Ceremony and Reception.
Supporting the Central Texas community, the Foundation is awarding 9 students with $2,500 scholarships and 13 students with $1,000 scholarships to pursue higher education goals, and this year marks one of the most successful years of the Foundation’s 37-year history.
Several community leaders and representatives from ABoR and the ABoR Foundation will join these bright students and their families, including:
•           Gina Hinojosa, Austin Independent School District Board of Trustees President
•           Andrea Barrick, Previous Scholarship Award Winner
•           Anita Farrell, Chair of the ABoR Foundation Scholarship Committee
•           Michael DaSilva,  Chair of the ABoR Foundation
•           Susan Horton, Past-Chair of the ABoR Foundation
•           Barb Cooper, 2015 President of ABoR
•           Paul Hilgers, CEO of ABoR
The 2015 Scholarship Awards Ceremony and Reception will take place on Wednesday, May 20 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Austin Board of REALTORS® Event Center on Spicewood Springs Rd. in Austin.
