BREAKING: APD Robbery Detectives Search for Pond Springs Bank Robber

On Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at approximately 2:13 p.m., a male suspect entered the Amplify Federal Credit Union at 13505 Pond Springs Rd. and demanded money from a teller. The suspect left the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapon was displayed and no injuries were reported.
Suspect Description:

  • Black male
  • Approximately 40-50 years of age
  • Approximately 5’11” in height and weighing 175 pounds

 

 

Wearing:

  • White UT baseball cap
  • White long sleeved shirt
  • Dark pants

 

 

This case remains under investigation by APD Robbery detectives. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Robbery tip line at (512) 974-5092, Crime Stoppers at (512) 472-TIPS or text “Tip 103” + your message to CRIMES. You may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 if your tip leads to an arrest or charges being filed. This is Austin’s fifth Bank Robbery of 2016.
