A black SUV had been flagged as “attempt to locate” by Comal County police when the driver allegedly pointed a gun at the driver of a semi-truck.
The driver of the SUV, 33-year-old Crystal Blancarte, was reported to have been intoxicated when she was arrested around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday. Police discovered five children were in the vehicle.
SMPD also determined Blancarte’s license had been previously suspended. A loaded weapon was discovered in the console of the vehicle.
The San Antonio resident was taken into custody and charged with five counts of abandoning/endangering a child with imminent danger. Blancarte is being held in Hays County jail with a total bond of $92,000 for all second-degree felonies and other charges.
