Take control of your diabetes! The Area Agency on Aging of the Capital Area and the Buda Task Force on Aging have teamed up to bring you A FREE six-week diabetes self-management workshop. It’s happening on every Wednesday starting on September 5 and ending on October 10.

The workshops last from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and will take place at the new Buda Municipal Building at 405 E. Loop St., Building 100, Library Classroom 1005.

  • If you are 60 years or older and living with Type 2 Diabetes, Prediabetes or have family members
  • Interested in symptoms and treatment management
  • Wants to learn proper exercise and nutrition
  • wants to know what questions to ask
