CASA Of Central Texas Participates In Big Give 2019 Event

The Court Appointed Special Advocates of Central Texas will participate in the Big Give 2019 event today to raise money and “empower the lives of children.”

The Big Give is a 24-hour online giving event in South Central Texas designed to help support local nonprofits “that are committed to making South Central Texas a great place to live, work and play.”

Since 2014, 188,937 donors have given over $20 million to over 2,000 nonprofits through the Big Give.

To give to CASA – South Central Texas visit https://www.thebiggivesa.org/organizations/casacentex.

CASA of Central Texas aims to raise $15,000 through today’s giving event. ECM International, Fuse Architecture Studio and Balfour Beatty have agreed to donate an equally valued match of their project management, architectural and construction services up to $15,000 toward the 2019 completion of CASA’s new Training and Support Center in San Marcos, Hays County.

The event began at midnight, and donations will continue through 11:59 PM. The best time to give is between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM; the nonprofit who raises the most money within specific time blocks will win $2,000 from the McKenna Foundation, and CASA has chosen the 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM time block.

Those who can’t donate can support CASA in other ways by spreading the hashtag #BigVoicesforLittleChildren, sharing CASA posts on social media or by becoming an Ambassador for CASA. Donations can also be given directly to CASA of Central Texas.
