Hays County Courthouse – The CDC has issued updated guidelines for the time a person in quarantine should be fever-free without the use of fever-reducing medications.
Now, those quarantined must be fever-free for 72 hours without the use of fever-reducing medications, up from 48.
This applies to those persons already in quarantine in addition to future persons who are quarantined.
