Central Texas Medical Center Now Offers Online Mammo Scheduling

SAN MARCOS, TEXAS — Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) today launched a new feature that allows patients to schedule their mammograms online.

“One of our goals at the CTMC Women’s Center for Breast Health is to make breast cancer screening more convenient for all women, which promotes early detection,” said Shayne Musick, CTMC director of medical imaging.

The new online scheduling feature coincides with CTMC’s annual observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each October, the hospital partners with several area organizations to raise money for the CTMC Foundation’s Emergency Cancer Fund, which assists local cancer patients with needs while undergoing treatment.

In addition to offering mammogram appointments, the new online feature allows patients to schedule lab tests as well.

To access online scheduling, visitctmcmammo.com. From there, visitors can choose the desired exam and follow the scheduling prompts.
