UPDATED: City Of Buda Ask Residents To Conserve Water Due To Power Outages, Announce Facility Closures

UPDATE: For the safety of the city of Buda employees and citizens, City Hall, including the Buda Public Library and other City facilities, will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 16. Essential staff will continue to work through the winter weather.

The city of Buda is asking its water customers to limit water usage as much as possible. Due to a loss of power at GBRA of Texas, the city is currently running the water system on groundwater wells with limited power supply availability.

Officials are asking residents to “please conserve water during this period until surface water power is restored.”

Crews have been working continuously for several days to maintain adequate services.
