SAN MARCOS, TEXAS—The 26th annual Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) Foundation’s Stars of Texas Gala, taking place Sunday, October 13, will honor the philanthropic work of Pink Heals Hays County, a chapter of the National Pink Heals Tour.
Pink Heals Hays County assists families in their battle against cancer. Their mission is to provide communities with a program that supports people in need on a personal level in partnership with public safety and local businesses.
“Pink Heals Hays County has touched many lives in our community and feels like a member of our CTMC family due to their contributions to the Emergency Cancer Fund,” said CTMC President/CEO Anthony Stahl. “I cannot think of a more deserving group to be honored at this year’s gala.”
The gala will kick off at 5:00 p.m. at Embassy Suites Hotel, Spa and Conference Center in San Marcos. In addition to gourmet dining and a unique silent auction, this year’s gala will feature the Latin jazz musical stylings of Henry Brun & the Latin Playerz.
Each year, the Stars of Texas Gala supports service and technology expansions keeping CTMC on the leading edge of healthcare.
This year’s proceeds will benefit the CTMC Women’s Center Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), which is a nine-bed unit with two isolation rooms for readmission infants up to 28 days old.
