I am staying in Kemah tx and working in Galveston tx
Am I eligible for DUA if my place of employment was closed for a few days but am able to return to work afterwards?
Hello Keith,
I am uncertain. I believe the company or business you work for would have to be closed indefinitely or for an extended period of time in order for you to be eligible. This page provides a list of the possible situations in which you would be eligible for the DUA: http://www.twc.state.tx.us/jobseekers/disaster-unemployment-assistance
