Dubois Xi Pop-Up Art Event Set For December

“We’re looking forward to the DuBois Pop-Up event again,” said Clay DeStefano, executive director.

San Marcos, TX – A total of 20 artists will be featured as the Price Center hosts the DuBois Gallery XI, a local pop-up art event, this Saturday, Dec. 2, from 5-9 p.m.  All work displayed in the show is for sale. The event is free, open to the public, and will include complimentary hors d’oeuvres and wine.

This latest installment of the DuBois Gallery will feature Alumni artists Darin Wood, Thom Rogers, Rene Perez, Tony Belmonte, Lisa McPike Smith, Sonja Nagy, Thomas Myers, Norman Bean, Dmac, Mathew Jobson, Mad DeStefano, John Roof, Kae Knadle, Anise C, Shawn McGuire, Zoe Thomas, and Amy Hall will be joined by special guest artists Jennifer Rosas, Furly, and Kitty Myles.

“We’re looking forward to the DuBois Pop-Up event again,” said Clay DeStefano, executive director. “The variety and style of art along with the regular followers of the event are sure to make for a wonderful evening.”

As always, Steger’s Chiffonade will provide delicious, unique hors d’oeuvres and Ryan Randolph will provide live musical accompaniment.  Guests to the event can also take in the current Gallery shows on display throughout the Center focused on Holiday Traditions from Around the World and the spectacular Christmas decorations in each room.

This will be the fourth installment of DuBois Pop Gallery at the Price Center this year. The Price Center hosts a variety of artists each month in unique, historic and repurposed venues including two former church sanctuaries. A live art gallery is one of the ways the Center brings the community together for creative exchanges and intellectual dialogue.
