H-E-B Issues Recall For Undeclared Allergen In Creamy Creation Ice Cream Flavor From Five Stores

H-E-B Creamy Creations Cherry Vanilla Light Churn Style Ice Cream Being Recalled From Five Stores For Undeclared Allergen

H-E-B, committed to the quality of its products, is issuing a recall for H-E-B Creamy Creations Cherry Vanilla Light Churn Style Half-Gallon Ice Cream from five potentially impacted stores because it may contain an undeclared nut allergen.

There have been no reported illnesses related to this recall.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to almonds run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. There have been no customer complaints or reports of reactions at this time.

The recall is isolated to five stores. Out of an abundance of caution, H-E-B is recalling Creamy Creations Cherry Vanilla Light Churn Style Half-Gallon Ice Cream from the five following H-E-B stores: Carrizo Springs, Crystal City, Eagle Pass #2, Lytle and Pearsall.

The issue was discovered when a customer returned the affected product to a store.

The recall affects a single lot code dated SELL BY OCT 19 17 ENJOY BY NOV 18 17 with a time stamp of 13:48, 13:49, 13:50, 13:51, 13:52, 13:53, 13:54, 13:55, 13:56, 13:57, or 13:58.

Customers who purchased the product can return it to the store for a full refund. Customers with any questions or concerns may contact H-E-B Customer Service at 1-855-432-4438.
