Hays County: Low Water Crossing On York Creek Road Closed For Repairs

Low Water Crossing On York Creek Road Closed For Repairs

The Hays County Transportation Department has closed the low water crossing between Soechting Lane and Francis Harris Lane – the third low water crossing east of I35 on York Creek Road.

An inspection by the Transportation Department determined that flood water flowing through the culverts at York Creek eroded the area under the roadway making it unsafe for vehicles to travel.

Until the road is repaired:
From the east end of York Creek Road, take Francis Harris Lane north to Old Bastrop Highway or south into Comal County to FM 101 to get to either I-35 (westward) or SH 123 (eastward).

From the west end of York Creek Road, take Old Bastrop Highway or the I-35 northbound frontage road.
