HAYS COUNTY — The May 2022 Uniform Election wrapped up on May 7, and polls closed at 7 p.m. The unofficial results have begun to be released.
Citizens of Hays County had the opportunity to vote on multiple state propositions and local school board positions.
Locally, residents voted on multiple positions in the area including the Dripping Springs Independent School District Trustees, San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District Trustees, and Hays Consolidated Independent School District Trustees.
Those registered to vote also had the opportunity to cast their ballot for two proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution relating to property taxes.
