Hays County Sheriff’s Office Arrest Dripping Springs Sexual Predator

It is believed Mr. Hida has engaged in this activity repeatedly throughout the Dripping Springs, Travis County, and Williamson County areas.

Hays County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation involving an adult male subject who was allegedly providing VAPE pens, VAPE oil, and alcohol to young teenage boys in the Dripping Springs area.

The reports included on-line solicitation by the adult male for sexual favors from the children.

A comprehensive investigation led to the suspect being identified as:

Luann Fabric Campos Leao Hida, 24 years of age, Lakeway resident

On August 7, 2018, detectives arrested the suspect and conducted searches of his residence, family home and vehicles.

It is believed Mr. Hida has engaged in this activity repeatedly throughout the Dripping Springs, Travis County, and Williamson County areas.

The investigation remains ongoing. Although this case involves a very sensitive topic, we want to encourage potential victims to come forward.

Mr. Hida is known to drive a 2010 Silver BMW 300 (photo #1) and a 2008 Black Jeep Liberty Jeep (photos #2 & #3) when meeting with his victims.
