Hays County To Fly Flags At Half Staff For A Month

Yesterday in Commissioners Court Hays County Judge Bert Cobb, M.D., ordered that all County buildings fly flags at half-staff for one calendar month beginning Yesterday to honor the military servicemen who lost their lives in the Chattanooga shooting and to honor the lives lost during the Memorial Weekend flood in Hays County.

The flags will be flown at full staff again on Wednesday, August 19.

The Judge invited other government agencies, individuals and businesses that display flags to do the same of their own volition.
