Local Coffee Chain Announces Addition In H-E-B

Mochas and Javas, San Marcos based coffee chain, announced the launch of its fourth location inside the H-E-B store, located at 641 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, TX. The new location will feature hot and cold espresso drinks, coffee, select pastries, and breakfast items. Mochas and Javas is not affiliated with H-E-B Grocery.

Mochas and Javas supports local businesses to ensure the freshest products possible, while simultaneously stimulating the local economy. Known for its quality, innovation, and Legendary Customer Service™, customers from the tri-city area flock to enjoy unequalled food and drinks.

Mochas and Javas supports numerous community organizations and charities through donations and partnerships including United Way of Hays County, International Piano Fest, and SMHS Mountain Bike Team to name a few. Mochas and Javas makes a conscious effort to reduce its environmental impact by using eco-friendly packaging when possible, buying local, reducing energy consumption, recycling, and composting.

“This is an exciting next step for us as we continue to expand,” said President, Kevin Carswell. “We share a lot of the same values such as customer service, quality products, exceptional employees, and a focus on the community.”

Construction on the new location will begin in July and customers can expect operations to begin around mid-August.

Mochas and Javas was established in 2003 with the goal of creating a community gathering place. We saw a need for a comfortable place for the community to come together while enjoying extraordinary beverages and food, and legendary customer service.
