Local Restaurant Chain Honored As One Of The Nation’s Best Places To Work

Popular chicken finger brand recognized for ‘culture of appreciation’ named a Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Winner…

BATON ROUGE, La. Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, the Louisiana-based company known for its ONE LOVE® – quality chicken finger meals – has built a reputation as a great place to work in communities across the country. That reputation was underscored again as the popular restaurant brand was honored with a Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award, recognizing the 100 Best Places to Work in 2019.

Glassdoor rankings are based solely on the input of employees who provide feedback on their jobs, work environments and employer practices for the preceding year. Raising Cane’s was one of only three restaurant companies included in Glassdoor’s annual listing.

“I am extremely proud that Raising Cane’s has earned this national recognition from Glassdoor,” said Todd Graves, Founder, CEO, Fry Cook & Cashier at Raising Cane’s. “From the very beginning, we wanted to create a great place to work where our Crewmembers can have a lot of fun while working hard. We’ve created a culture of appreciation and that, in turn, is why our Crewmembers love what they do and why our Customers receive industry-leading service.”

Raising Cane’s was praised by employee reviewers for cultivating a culture of appreciation that is reinforced by competitive pay, paid days off for holidays, employee bonuses and gifts throughout the year that show appreciation for hard work. Cane’s Love® – a program created to recognize, respect and reward Crewmembers – is a key component of the company’s culture.

“We recognize that our front line fry cooks, cashiers and managers are some of the most important people in the company,” continued Graves. “They provide our ONE LOVE to our customers, so we have always made it a priority to treat them right. It’s one of the many things that sets us apart from our competitors.”

Raising Cane’s is renowned for its fresh, never ever frozen chicken fingers, its craveable – some say addictive – secret-recipe Cane’s sauce, crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, freshly brewed sweet tea and fresh-squeezed lemonade. The company is likewise known for its commitment to active community involvement, centered on its six areas of focus: education, feeding the hungry, pet welfare, active lifestyles, business development & entrepreneurship and “everything else!”

“In today’s tight labor market, job seekers are in the driver’s seat when it comes to deciding where to work and they want to know the inner workings of a company before accepting a new job. To help people find the best jobs and the best companies, the Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Awards recognize employers at the top of their game,” said Dr. Andrew Chamberlain, Glassdoor Chief Economist. “For employers, we know that a satisfied and engaged workforce helps drive financial performance. Glassdoor Best Places to Work winners are strategically investing in company culture, career growth opportunities and more, which also serves as a major recruiting advantage.”

Founded by Todd Graves in 1996 in Baton Rouge, La., RAISING CANE’S CHICKEN FINGERS has more than 410 restaurants in 24 states, Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia, with multiple new restaurants under construction. The company has ONE LOVE®—quality chicken finger meals—and is continually recognized for its unique business model and customer satisfaction. Raising Cane’s vision is to have restaurants all over the world and be the brand for quality chicken finger meals, a great crew, cool culture and active community involvement.
