Movies in Your Park Series Continues

The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Division will be featuring Enchanted at Movies in Your Park at San Marcos Plaza Park, 401 E. Hopkins, on Tuesday, June 23. Pre-movie activities begin at 7:30 p.m., and the movie starts at sunset.
 
The remaining movies of the 2015 Movies in Your Park series will be held at San Marcos Plaza Park and include:

June 30 – The Mighty Ducks
July 07 – Maleficent
July 14 – Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY
July 21 – Goonies
July 28 – Dolphin Tale 2

Bring your friends, family, lawn chairs, and blankets. Come out before the movie begins at 7:30 p.m. to enjoy pre-movie activities for youth sponsored by Angel Drops. Movies will begin as soon as the sun has set for the evening. Concessions will be available for purchase from the Association of Recreation Enthusiasts from Texas State University.

 
Hays-Caldwell Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse will have a table set up with an activity for the youth.
 
Students from the Texas State PR Campaigns course will be out promoting their “Old Soles Never Die” campaign. They will be collecting new and used shoes (athletic, casual or dress shoes) as part of the relief effort for victims of the Central Texas Floods. Please bring shoes to the movie that you would like to donate to this cause.
 
The concert series is sponsored by Grande Communications, Walton Development and Management, The Hitch, and Mensor.
