Movies In Your Park To Feature “Field Of Dreams”

Concessions will be available for purchase from the Association of Recreation Enthusiasts, and Kona Ice will be on-site selling snow cones.

The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department will host the third showing of Movies in Your Park on Tuesday, June 26 at Bobcat Stadium, located at 1100 Aquarena Springs Drive. The featured movie, “Field of Dreams,” will begin at approximately 8:45 p.m. Pre-movie activities hosted by Angel Drops and Texas Health & Racquet Club will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Gate 1, located between the West Side Complex and End Zone Complex, will open to the public at 7 p.m. Glass, Styrofoam, alcohol, smoking and pets are not permitted at the stadium.

All attendees are subject to the rules and regulations of Texas State University and Texas State Athletics.

Concessions will be available for purchase from the Association of Recreation Enthusiasts, and Kona Ice will be on-site selling snow cones. It is recommended to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.

There will not be a movie on Tuesday, July 3 due to preparations for the SummerFest Independence Day Celebration. The remaining movies are:

  • July 10 – “Sing”
  • July 17 – “Lilo & Stitch”
  • July 24 – “Toy Story”
  • July 31 – “Coco”
  • Aug. 7 – “Space Jam”
