Greater San Marcos Partnership (GSMP), the economic development organization for Hays and Caldwell Counties, will host its annual Greater San Marcos Economic Outlook luncheon on May 2nd from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Embassy Suites San Marcos Hotel and Conference Center (1001 E. McCarty Lane, San Marcos, TX 78666).
The program includes Keynote Mark Vitner, Managing Director & Senior Economist of Wells Fargo, who will give a talk about national economic trends and the Greater San Marcos region’s outlook.
Vitner is responsible for tracking U.S. and regional economic trends and provides regular updates on housing markets, commercial real estate, regional economies, consumer spending, and issues impacting small business.
Immediately follow the Keynote will be a panel discussing regional opportunities and challenges and ways of approaching them with San Marcos Mayor John Thomaides, Kyle Mayor Travis Mitchell, and Lockhart Mayor Lew White.
GSMP Chair of the Board of Directors Dr. Denise Trauth, President of Texas State University, David Case, Vice President of Business Banking for Wells Fargo, the event’s title sponsor, and GSMP President Adriana Cruz will also provide remarks.
