New Wine Bar Arrives In San Marcos Square

By Terra Rivers, Managing Editor

In early December, Pinky’s Wine Bar opened to bring an alternative for residents seeking a night out.

The bar resides inside Dahlia Woods Gallery and offers a variety of wines from around Texas. Dahlia Woods Gallery is also home to Bad Boy Books, the only independent bookstore in San Marcos.

Dahlia Woods, owner of Dahlia Woods Gallery, said she wanted an environment where patrons can have a glass of wine and browse books, art and jewelry.

On Fridays and Saturdays, Pinky’s Wine Bar and the Dahlia Woods Gallery will host live music. It will also join the Third Thursday Walkabout in downtown. The next walkabout will be held on Jan. 19.

Some downtown businesses will have extended hours to provide refreshments to walkabout guests.

    • Ms. Dishman,

Thank you for pointing this out. We did report that it was inside of Dahlia Woods Gallery, but didn't mention the address of the gallery, so here it is: 232 N LBJ Dr, San Marcos, TX 78666
