AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Transportation re-opened Old Fitzhugh Road at RM 12 in Dripping Springs today after completing basic roadway paving and intersection work.
The intersection had been closed since July 27. Additional paving and striping are scheduled to be completed on Monday and Tuesday, August 22-23, weather-permitting. At least one lane will be open with alternating traffic during the repaving operations.
Motorists should allow extra time to travel through this area during the affected hours. TxDOT asks the traveling public to be patient and remain aware when traveling through the work zone.
