JOHNSON CITY, Texas – Every year, Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC) and its members distribute annual contributions to local education foundations within, or surrounded by, its service territory.
Twenty-four organizations each received a $1,000 donation to spend toward initiatives they support.
“At PEC, we believe in powering our communities and empowering future generations through education,” PEC Community Relations Coordinator Caroline Tinsley Porter said. “We’re proud to be an advocate for our local education foundations that support local teachers and students in so many meaningful ways.”
