Are you looking for a farm dog? Well, look no further because Opal is the best helper! She’s nine months old and eager to learn some new tricks, even though she already knows a few things. She likes to play a little rough, so she may enjoy another dog at home that has high-energy as well. Opal is definitely not an apartment dog and would flourish in a home with a big yard or endless fields for her to roam. She is very vocal and loves any kind of attention. Come meet this 50-pound girl today!

Michael is a very chill guy! He spends most of his day sleeping, eating, drinking water, and doing some more sleeping. You might think he’s an older cat since he is so relaxed, but he’s only a year old! He loves head scratches and getting SqueezeUp treats, but above all else, he enjoys a good cuddle session. Michael doesn’t like being picked up, but what big cat does? Michael is FIV+ (feline immunodeficiency virus); visit https://bit.ly/3DaRR3n to learn more about FIV.
Both pets are available for adoption at the San Marcos Regional Shelter.
All ready-to-go pets (meaning cats and dogs that have already been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped) are $10 until further notice and include spay/neuter, vet exam, vaccinations, a microchip, and 30 days of free pet health insurance.
To meet their pets, please visit in person at 750 River Rd, San Marcos, open from noon – 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and from noon – 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
