San Antonio Murder Suspect Identified As Suspect In San Marcos Kidnapping

Antonio Brown, 41, was arrested for the death of John Harmon, 61, after the former allegedly shot Harmon outside a southeast San Antonio home.

Bexar County Jail is holding a man on a murder charge who has recently been identified as a suspect in San Marcos kidnapping.

Antonio Brown, 41, was arrested for the death of John Harmon, 61, after the former allegedly shot Harmon outside a southeast San Antonio home. San Marcos police have also identified Brown as the suspect in the kidnapping of a Chuch Nash employee on Dec. 26.

According to SMPD, Brown went to the dealership to trade in his vehicle and buy a new one. When he was told he did not qualify for a loan, Brown allegedly lured a female employee from the parts and services department to his car and drove off with her.

The arrest affidavit said Brown took her to a secluded area and demanded she take off her clothes. The victim also told police the suspect attempted to sexually assault her at her gunpoint.

The employee was able to flee the vehicle with the credit application Brown had filled out at the dealership, according to a city spokesperson. The paperwork provided the police with the identification of the suspect.
