San Marcos City Council To Hold Special Meeting Today

“Consider approval of Resolution 2018-120R, supporting the reversal of the Department of Homeland Security’s Family Separation Policies; and providing an effective date.”

San Marcos City Council will hold a special meeting at 5:20 PM on Wednesday to consider “approval of a resolution supporting the reversal of the Department of Homeland Security’s Family Separation policies” and provide an effective date.

An agenda packet with a single item was published on Friday for the special meeting.

Consider approval of Resolution 2018-120R, supporting the reversal of the Department of Homeland Security’s Family Separation Policies; and providing an effective date.

Mano Amiga is expected to hold a rally at the Hays County Courthouse from 5:45 PM to 7:00 PM to gather supporters in opposition to immigration enforcement.
