San Marcos, Kyle Call For Volunteers For Great Texas River Clean Up 2019

The City of San Marcos, Texas State University, the City of Kyle and the Texas River Protection Association are calling for volunteers to register for the 34^th Annual Great Texas River Clean Up.

The 2019 Annual Great Texas River Clean Up event will take place on March 2 from 9 AM to 1 PM; volunteers will clean all 90 miles of the San Marcos River, including creeks and tributaries that flow into the San Marcos and Blanco Rivers.

On cleanup day, volunteers will check in at the watershed headquarters at 8:30 AM, sign in, meet up with their team leaders and receive supplies and instructions.

Each volunteer will be provided with a breakfast taco and pizza for lunch. Shirts are on a first come first served basis.
