San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter ‘Pets Of The Week’

Every week, the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter selects the Pets of the Week to help animals find their forever homes.

Let us introduce you to Sweet Thang and Penny

This gorgeous cat is a total ham! She’s a four-year-old Domestic Shorthair who will trick you into thinking she’s shy and reserved, but when she trusts you, she’ll purr loudly and happily accept your pets.

Give her some scratches behind her ears and Sweet Thang will totally live up to her name.

Meet Penny…

This girl has so much love to give! Penny is a two-year-old Shepherd mix who has an amazingly soft coat.

She was scared when she first came to our shelter, but patient volunteers have helped her come out of her shell.

Penny will do really well with any gentle and caring family!

All adoptions include the pet’s spay or neuter, kennel vaccinations, rabies vaccination, microchip and city license. For more information or to adopt one of our Pets of the Week, visit www.sanmarcostx.gov/animaladoptions or contact Animal Services at (512) 805-2650.
