The work will modify traffic signal phasing to improve signal operations at the displaced-left interchange.
The traffic signals may be on flash or dark intermittently during this work, and drivers may experience delays. If so, drivers should treat the intersection as a four-way stop.
In December, the City of San Marcos assumed traffic signal maintenance of the two Displaced-Left Interchanges in San Marcos at IH 35/SH 80 and IH 35/Lp 82. These two major intersections accommodate over 30,000 vehicles per day.
