HAYS COUNTY — The May 24, 2022, Republican Primary Run-Off Election is wrapping up, and the polls close at 7 p.m. today. Registered voters across the state of Texas had the opportunity to vote on multiple run-off positions in the Democratic and Republican Primary.
In the Republican Primary Run-Off Election, voters cast their ballot for many positions including U.S. Representative, Attorney General, Railroad Commissioner, and state representative. Locally, the District Judge and multiple Precinct Chairs are up for election.
In the state Democratic Primary Run-Off Election, Hays County residents had the opportunity to vote on U.S. Representative, Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General positions in the State and Federal elections. Locally, County Commissioner of Precinct 2 will be in the run-off election.
