O
n Saturday, Sept. 8 the Texas State Football Program welcomes Texas Southern to Bobcat Stadium at 6 PM. Tickets are still available at TXST.com/Tickets. Saturday’s game is sponsored by HEB. If you can’t make it to the game, you can follow in the following ways:

Parking:

Both free and paid parking is available to the general public on game days. Click here to review the map, cost and amenities to decide the best public parking option for a great game day experience.

Due to construction and increased traffic we encourage fans to plan their route to their desired parking lot. For your convenience driving/approach maps are linked to the lot name in this chart. These approaches are not the only path to the lot, but are the recommended approaches.

Tailgating:

The official Texas State tailgating area is located in the University Events Center (UEC) Lot and is open to everyone. Bring your tents, grills, RVs, and prepare to enjoy a great pre-game experience. Spots are available on a first come, first serve basis and spots will not be reserved.

Spots may be purchased for $10 each, only one space may be used per vehicle. Every vehicle entering tailgating must pay $10. Vehicle parking spaces may not be paid for in advance or reserved. Vehicles may leave the tailgate area at any time but no vehicles will be allowed to enter or re-enter when the lot is closed because it is full, regardless if it has a paid permit.

The Bobcat Football Game Day Shuttle is available on game day to transport fans to and from Bobcat Stadium from three stops on campus – the LBJ Student Center (if parking at Matthew St. Garage), San Jacinto Hall and Edward Gary Street Parking.
