SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State men’s basketball team will be holding a student tryout informational meeting on Friday, September 9 at 1 p.m. The meeting will be held in Room 101 inside Strahan Coliseum (Men’s Basketball Office – Conference Room). All forms which must be downloaded above by clicking the link, must be completed and submitted to the men’s basketball office by Friday, Sept. 9. Not late forms will be accepted.
In order to tryout, a student must meet the following criteria:
– Must be a full-time student (minimum 12 hours during the Fall 2016 semester) at Texas State University.
– Must hold and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5
All must have the following documents submitted by Friday, Sept. 16.
– Student-Athlete Tryout Form
– Fall 2016 class schedule
– Copies of all college transcripts (if applicable)
– Athletic Training Documentation for Student Tryout Form
– Records of physical within the past six months
– Medical history questionnaire
– Copy of insurance card (front and back)
– Signed Non-Scholarship Athlete Insurance Agreement Form
