Traffic Advisory Bulletin:  I-35 Lane And Frontage Road Closures 

Planned I-35 lane closures for continued construction (bridge beam placement) of the new bridge over Yarrington Road:

Sunday, Feb. 22, 7 a.m. – law enforcement officers will stop traffic on all main lanes and frontage lanes northbound and southbound on I-35 south of Yarrington Road for approximately 15 minutes for the removal of power lines.

These planned diversions will now take place on Tuesday and Wednesday due to weather concerns on Monday, instead of the original Monday-Tuesday due to the possibility of freezing temperatures on Monday.

Tuesday, Feb. 24, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday: traffic northbound on I-35 will be diverted to the frontage roads.

Wednesday, Feb. 25, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday, traffic southbound on I-35 at Yarrington Road will be diverted to the frontage roads.

If needed for completion of work, lanes in either direction may be diverted on Thursday, Feb. 26, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday.

 

Please consider using alternate routes or leaving additional time for traveling in the area during these times.
