The United Way of Hays County is partnering with San Marcos CISD’s Bonham Pre-Kindergarten School for a series of six parent workshops for families with infant children to the age of five years. This fall’s workshop dates are on the following Tuesdays, from 6:00-7:30 pm: September 27, October 4, October 18, October 25, November 1, and November 15. All sessions will be at the Bonham PK, 1225 TX-123, in San Marcos, Texas.
Part of the United Way’s BornLearning® academies initiative, the workshop goals are to intended to help boost school readiness in children and to teach parents how to better prepare their children, beginning when they are born.
A free dinner will be offered from 6:00-6:30 pm, followed by the parent workshops from 6:30-7:30 pm. Free childcare will be provided, and there will be some free giveaways for the kids and parents. Space is limited to 20 families on a first come, first served basis.
Register by September 16 by filling out and returning the provided registration form to either Bonham PreK School, 1225 TX-123, San Marcos or to the United Way of Hays County, 174 S. Guadalupe Street, Suite 105, San Marcos, Texas.
