Additional shelters will open as needed.

The Capital Area Shelter Hub Plan (CASHP) is now active to receive evacuees from Hurricane Harvey.

The first two shelters, located at Delco Center, 4601 Pecan Brook Dr, Austin, TX 78724 and LBJ/LASA High School, 7309 Lazy Creek Dr, Austin, TX 78724, are now open. Additional shelters will open as needed and announced using the City of Austin Twitter account – @austintexasgov.

The CASHP is a regional network of emergency shelters operated by the City of Austin, Hays County, Travis County, and Williamson County.

As active shelter information and weather may change rapidly, we will be relying on the following channels to communicate the most recent information:

Phone:
Non-emergency – call 3-1-1 or 512-974-2000
Emergency – call 9-1-1

Twitter:
@Austintexagov using #ATXShelter.

We are not currently accepting donations. Those interested in volunteering should contact the Red Cross at 1-800-928-4271 or visit https://redcross.org/volunteer.
