Projects affecting San Marcos traffic May 22 – 28, 2016

 

BLANCO GARDENS: Street maintenance on Linda and Bugg Lane and Harper Drive through May 25, weather permitting, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Please park your vehicle off the street or it may be towed at your own expense. City of San Marcos Streets Dept., 512.393.8025

 

SPRING LAKE HILLS: Slurry street maintenance on Spring Lake Hills May 23 – June 3, weather permitting, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Please park your vehicle off the street or it may be towed at your own expense. City of San Marcos Streets Dept., 512.393.8025

 

SESSOM CREEK: Slurry street maintenance on Sessom Creek May 23 – June 3, weather permitting, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Please park your vehicle off the street or it may be towed at your own expense. City of San Marcos Streets Dept., 512.393.8025

 

CHURCHILL ST: On Churchill St. between Roosevelt and Camacho, there will be a closure for the Guadalupe Catholic Church Festival on May 27 – 30 from 7 a.m. – 3 a.m. daily. Joseph Quintero, 512.216.3441

 

500 BLOCK BISHOP ST: One lane eastbound of the 500 block of Bishop St. will be closed on May 20 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., weather permitting. Edward Jaimes, 512.891.2643

 

816 HOPKINS: The alley way between 817 Hopkins and Belvin St. will be under construction for street maintenance through June 3 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily, weather permitting. Alley will be passable to through traffic. City of San Marcos Streets Dept., 512.393.8025

 

YARRINGTON RD: Two inside south bound main lanes will be closed for maintenance on the Yarrington Bridge May 13-20, weather permitting from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. daily. TxDOT, 737.600.3137

 

EAST SAN ANTONIO STREET: Every Saturday from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.  Half a block of street closed from the alley to N. LBJ for the Farmers Market on the Square. Main Street Program, 512.393.8430

 

LONG TERM ROAD PROJECTS:

  • HOLLAND/MOORE ST: Moore Street at Holland will be closed until June 9 to correct traffic flow issues and to make enhancements to the Holland Street entrance into the Speck garage; however, the east entrance into Speck Garage on Academy St. will remain open.
  • NORTH LBJ FROM CAMARO WAY TO CRADDOCK: This road will be open to two-way traffic, but the lanes will be shifted west to allow space for the City contractor to construct a new lift station on the corner of N. LBJ and Craddock. Project will last until summer 2016. Engineering/Capital Improvements, 512.393.8130
  • 817 CHESTNUT ST: One lane will be closed for new construction to site through June 2. Street will continue to be passable to all traffic. J4 Development, 469.236.0922
