Wine, Art Weekend Returns To San Marcos

“We’re excited to have these events hosted in the heart of our city,” said Samantha Armbruster, Main Street Program Manager.

Wine and Art Weekend will celebrate the art, culture and live music that make San Marcos unique June 9-10 with a Wine and Art Walk event.

The San Marcos Main Street Program aims to foster a downtown that is a place for people of all ages to connect, create and celebrate through events such as the Wine and Art Walk.

“We’re excited to have these events hosted in the heart of our city,” said Samantha Armbruster, Main Street Program Manager. “We look forward to showcasing the vibrant arts culture that exists in San Marcos.”

Between 5:30 – 8:30 p.m., wine enthusiasts will begin an art adventure in Kissing Alley where each participant will receive a commemorative wine glass and more.

Ticket holders will enjoy wine tastings and paired hors d’oeuvres while strolling through 12 downtown locations, including all of the recently opened galleries located throughout the downtown district.

In addition to wine and food pairings, the Wine and Art Walk will showcase local artists, each featured in a different shop.

Tickets are $25 pre-sale and $30 at the door and can be purchased online at www.smtxwinewalk.com. For questions, please contact the Main Street Program Office at 512.393.8430 or via email at mainstreet@sanmarcostx.gov.
