Classic Singing Concert And Fundraiser Set

“She told me when she was 4 years old she was going to be a singer, and she needed that karaoke machine,” explains Becky Burkepile, Avaina’s mother.

San Marcos, TX– The Price Center will be hosting a classic singing concert and fundraiser this Sunday, May 21, at 6 p.m.  in the historic 1910 Room.

Featured artist is Aviana Burkepile, a freshman at Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Ohio will present “Aviana Going to Italy,” and tickets are available now for $20 through PayPal, Venmo, or direct contact of Becky Burkepile at 512-216-7285.

Light refreshments and snacks will be available during the show.

Proceeds from the tickets sold will go towards a wonderful opportunity Aviana has to travel to Italy for five weeks this summer to perform in the opera “Serse.”

Aviana started singing solos in church and special programs when she was just seven years old and has never stopped since then.

“She told me when she was 4 years old she was going to be a singer, and she needed that karaoke machine,” explains Becky Burkepile, Avaina’s mother. “Of course I told her, you can be whatever you want to be! Well, Aviana is going after her dreams, and I am so proud of her!”

Aviana’s talent and passion for singing has led her to receive #1 superior ratings in T.A.P.P.S. competitions and place in TMEA TX All-State Mixed Choir 2016 and TMEA TX All-State Women’s Choir 2015.

The Price Center serves as a rotating art gallery and offers a multitude of rooms and spaces available to rent out for meetings, banquets, performances and anything in between.
